Eremito

The creation of Italian visionary Marcello Murzilli, this restored 14th-century monastery is a refined sensory experience. The sprawling compound has  21 “celluze” (rooms) with meditation nooks built into the stone walls and bedding of handmade hemp yarn. The spa features a heated pool dug from the rock and a stone steam room. Eremito is  located in the center of Italy, surrounded by 3,000 hectares of protected natural reserve in Umbria. Some will remember Marcello’s leisure utopia Hotelito Desconocido, in Tomatlán, Mexico. Here at Eremito Marcello continues his exploration into soulful luxury with a mix of ecology, technology, and spirituality.
