Castillo de Dracula

LOCATION: Todos Santos, Mexico
PRICE: $$
Castillo de Dracula is a historic landmark in the small town of Todos Santos, Mexico on the pacific coast of the Baja Peninsula. An old sugar warehouse from the 1800’s in the center of town, the building was named Castillo de Dracula long ago because of its pointy Gothic windows and imposing facade. Today the property is sometimes a family home (mine!), a temporary hotel, and arts center. it's an ideal place for gathering groups and we have hosted retreats, workshops, photo shoots, and events. Upstairs are four lofty bedrooms and downstairs has a living room with 20 foot ceilings. the back of the house is centered around a verdant courtyard with another bedroom with a private entrance, an large kitchen. a terraced seating area, and a Palm covered outdoor dining area. There's also lots of shady trees for sitting under and a solarium for sunning, dancing and stargazing. Farther back is a second courtyard/garden with lime and fig trees.
